Restaurants 

I am assuming that most nights we will dine in making use of the indoor and outdoor kitchens.  However, there are a few places in town we frequent and are a lot of fun.

Maro’s Shrimp and Seafood House

Maro’s is a hole in the wall that is known for its shrimp (the size of Twinkies) and lobster.  They also have flank steak for those adverse to creatures of the sea.  Vegan and vegetation offerings might be limited to rice and beans.

Maro’s is located approximately 2.5 miles from Novaispania in the downtown portion of Los Cabos.  There are all kinds of souvenir shops on the same street as Maro’s.  The owner (Maro) is a great guy and over the years has become a family friend.  High points include the local musicians that Maro invites inside and the house drink specialty – the Bull Dog served over ice with a provocative dance by the server.

The Office

The Office is a Cabo icon.  The food is good, not the greatest and a little over-priced, but the view is breathtaking.  Your table is literally in the sand and your view of El Arco and Land’s End is awesome.  It is down by the marina on Medono Beach.  Usually live music and you need to be careful about Tequila shots and poppers from Rambo.

La Lupita Tacos & Mezcal 

This is an upscale taco restaurant.  Think very fancy tacos.  Vegan and vegetarian selections likely on the menu.  Live music played from the second-level roof-top stage down to the courtyard seating.  Walking distance from The Office near Medono Beach.
